Description

This module aims to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of the physical principles that underpin Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Spectroscopy (MRS). Students will be introduced to the advanced scientific/mathematical concepts of signal and image formation; before being introduced to MR technology/electronics and safety, with application to standard imaging/sensing of major organs within the body.
